The Pantry
The Pantry exists to provide supplemental, nutritional, and culturally relevant food as well as hygiene items to all UWT students. Anyone with a Husky ID may access the Pantry. Hours and online request form can be found on their website. Please visit their Instagram page for the most updated information @uwtpantry
Hosted by the Office of Student Advocacy and Support. Students can pick up a single meal. "Hungry Now, Eat Now". These food items are healthy single serve for individual students. Larger quantities can be located at the Food Pantry. Open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, if the door is closed, please visit the OSAS in MAT 203 to open the Cupboard.

Nourish Food Truck is a mobile food bank available at UWT to all students and community members. Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 in the Pinkerton Parking lot.

The Food Connection has been serving residents of Pierce County since 1982. Begun as a small, neighborhood food pantry, our programs have rapidly expanded to become some of the largest emergency food assistance programs in the area. Provides food resources at the food bank, mobile units and at local schools.
Entrance is in the parking lot, behind the building.
Food is Free Tacoma is a project started by a local Tacoma man to bring fresh, local food and produce to Pierce County. You can find their locations all around Tacoma. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, called Basic Food in Washington, helps people with low incomes make ends meet by providing monthly benefits to buy food.
Emergency Food Network provides healthy, nutritious food to 75+ partners in Pierce County. If you are in search of food pantries near by, visit the website provided and click on the "FIND FOOD" button. On there it will have a map showing all nearby pantries that are available to help.
